OUR CORE VALUES
Making games is a mad adventure of exploration and uncertainty. It’s a big dream — but having high ambitions also means we don’t know it all. That’s why we have created an environment where our team constantly supports each other, sharing both passion and knowledge.
At Madbox, you’re in the driver’s seat! We trust you to make the decisions, learn from them, and chart your own course; we’ll back up you all the way. By this method, we can allow everyone to learn, grow and write the next chapters in our Mad Story.
Madbox runs on rapid testing and constant feedback. We'd rather try something, learn from it quickly, and keep moving than get stuck in endless debates.
At Madbox, anything should be said as long as it is thoughtfully shared. We believe that the delivery of feedback is as equally important as the message itself. This is our way to build a transparent culture, where everyone participates in both the celebrations and challenges of building a company together.
OUR RITUALS
-
4M
Stands for Madbox Monday Morning Meeting. We kick-off the week together (with a few croissants) and check how are other teams doing.
-
MADGEN
Every year in September, both studio gathers in an in-between distance location. We eat, chill, paddle, ride bikes and just enjoy time together.
-
CREATIVE FRIDAY
The last Friday of the month is dedicated to exploration! Always wanted to start working on this game idea you had? Go ahead!
-
CREATIVE CHALLENGE
Twice a month, we have room to pitch an idea. A feature? A game concept? The floor is yours.
-
MADLUNCH
At Madbox, we're very serious about food. And so are our caterings partners, used to bring banquets to our offices once a month.
-
MADRINKS
First Thursday of the month is our Thirstday! A few drinks, some slices of chips & tons of games to enjoy together 🎮
LIMITS ARE THE ONES YOU SET
We have a Madband, we have created our own card games, we have a wood tree in our Paris office, our founder wanders in socks in the office - all of that because we wanted to.
The only limits are the ones you set - think big, take ownership, and go above.
