OUR CORE VALUES
Being casual at Madbox is about how we behave with the people we work with.
We care about being accessible, honest, and easy to work with. We try to create an environment where energy circulates naturally, where people feel comfortable asking questions, sharing doubts, or offering help when it’s needed. Not because it’s expected, but because it’s how good teams function over time.
Being casual also means leaving ego at the door. We focus on what’s best for the team and for our players, rather than on individual recognition. Trust grows from simple things: reliability, transparency, care and the feeling that the people around you genuinely have your back.
Finally, casual doesn’t mean avoiding honesty. It means being candid with attention and respect, focusing on solving problems rather than issues. Over time, we think this mindset creates teams that are reliable, supportive, and enjoyable to work with.
Making mobile games is demanding by nature. It requires ambition, resilience, adaptation and a constant drive to do better than yesterday.
At Madbox, being MAD means aiming high and caring deeply about the impact of what we build. We look for people who are driven by questions, not just answers as well as people who enjoy exploring new directions, challenging assumptions, and imagining what a game could become rather than sticking to what already exists.
If you have an idea that feels a bit unconventional, imperfect, or simply “mad” this is the kind of environment where it can be explored seriously. Not every idea will work, but we believe progress comes from testing, learning, and refining.
Transparency at Madbox is about communicating clearly, honestly, and with intention.
We encourage people to voice their opinions openly, even when they challenge existing ideas. At the same time, we expect listening to be just as important as speaking. The goal isn’t to win debates, but to push ideas forward and arrive at better decisions together.
We always speak about others as if they were present and to build discussions on respect and trust. Over time, this creates an environment where feedback can exist without fear, and where alignment feels possible even in moments of disagreement.
At Madbox, anything should be said as long as it is thoughtfully shared. We believe that the delivery of feedback is as equally important as the message itself. This is our way to build a transparent culture, where everyone participates in both the celebrations and challenges of building a company together.

LIMITS ARE THE ONES YOU SET
We have a Madband, we have created our own card games, we have a wood tree in our Paris office, our founder wanders in socks in the office - all of that because we wanted to.
The only limits are the ones you set - think big, take ownership, and go above.
