Collaborating with our Community Manager, you will act as both the voice of Madbox and the voice of players, helping us achieve our ambition of making millions smile by strengthening the relationship we have between the Pocket Champs team and its passionate community of fans.

You will ensure players feel seen and heard by our team by moderating and answering comments on our social platforms, and you will ensure Madbox can gain knowledge about community concerns and desires by regularly summarizing all opinions and known issues you observe.

Your future responsibilities and scope:

• Respond to player feedback on a variety of social platforms (Discord, Facebook, Reddit, etc.)
• Build a “VIP” relationship with top community members you identify as moderators or testers.
• Monitor daily player discussions and frequently summarize the overall community mood.
• Share a detailed analysis of player reactions about a specific game update or event.
• Help the Quality Assurance team detect or investigate issues by sharing what players report.
• Help the Customer Support team understand key community topics by sharing your insights
  

As the internship evolves, you may also have opportunities to:

• Host community-driven initiatives such as contests with rewards to distribute.
• Edit how the official Pocket Champs Discord server is set up (channels, bots, roles, etc.)
• Help the Community Team host surveys and analyse results to share insights with Production.

The profile we are looking for:

• Studying at a Video Game, Community Management school, or a related field
• Strong written English skill is required, as your daily tasks will mainly involve writing content
• Passionate about gaming and excited to engage and energize player communities
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, polished content
• A great communicator: kind, constructive, and empathetic when interacting with both players and team members
• Comfortable using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive)

• Solid knowledge of the gaming industry (news and events like Paris Games Week)
• Experience as moderator or participation in any online gaming community (Facebook, Discord, Twitch, Reddit, etc.)
