This dynamic ecosystem requires meticulous coordination to keep our games at the forefront of technology and user experience.
We are looking for a Game Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics team for Pocket Champs and help the game team improve the experience we give our players based on existing and new analytical models.
Based in Paris, you will have the opportunity to work with the Data Analytics Lead, Game Director, Features Managers, Game team, and other Analytics team members to keep delivering high-end Analytics solutions and business insights to the company.
Your future responsibilities and scope:
- Working closely with the Senior Game Analyst and the Game Leads you will perform analysis of the game performance and players' behavior
- Keep developing our game analytics tools
- Performing analysis and giving valuable insights into main steps of the game lifecycle such as full version analysis, 50/50 comparison, Tech modules analysis, A/B testing insights, etc.
- Design the Events Tracking for new game features or update existing ones
- Define the Business Questions for each game version or any other required area
- Daily conversations with the production team to reevaluate the key metrics of success to be tracked in every step and the A/B testings that could be interesting to check
- Manage great communication with rest of the Madboxers including managers, game team, analytics team, and growth team
- Data crunching and dashboard building, both on demand and at your own initiative
- Agile work while maintaining and following a clear analytics work plan
The profile we are looking for:
- Bachelor in Engineering or related field
- 1-3 years of proven experience in Game Analytics based on Big Data systems holding detailed user behaviour events
- Knowledge of the KPIs used in the video game and advertising industries.
- High level of SQL plus proven experience
- Experience with Data visualization tools (preferably Looker)
- Deeply hands-on experience while being business savvy
- Autonomy and ability to make decisions and make projects move forward while keeping transparency and continuous updates to relevant stakeholders
- Have an analytical mindset, strong logic, and business sense
- Excellent communication skills: straight to the point, focused on constructive feedback, positive mindset. Keeping clear communication with different positions and levels
- Being able to provide relevant recommendations based on reliable data and communicate it to the rest of the team
- Being very sharp on the relevant metric to look at when trying to provide a response to a question with no ambiguity
